Hawthorn Way allotment site is located in Chesterton behind houses near the Elizabeth Way / Chesterton Road roundabout.

There are just 5 plots, with 10 people working them, well-overlooked by friendly neighbours.

There's an old-fashioned water pump installed by the council, loads of bindweed, four out of five plots are organic except for glyphosate, and there is one beehive, which pollinates plants in a 2 mile radius.
