Helen Harwood will be hosting the first meeting of the year, at 28, High Street, Gt Shelford phone 840393 for further information and directionsSaturday February10th 9.30am-3.30pm East Anglian Potato Day, Giffords Hall, Hartest, Suffolk. If you want to share transport for a visit in the morning, then contact Louise and Vince. This is always an immensely popular event, where you can chose potato tubers of varieties you might not have tried before.
Wednesday March 7th Guest speaker Mike Day, from NIAB, will speak on Oriental Vegetables- Reviews the wide range of vegetable crops available in the East, based on study trips and visits to China, Japan and Malaysia and experience of adaption trials in the UK.. 7.30pm start at the Friends Meeting House, Jesus Lane, Cambridge.
Tuesday April 3rd . Louise and Vince will be hosting the meeting, possibly about plant breeding.
Tuesday May 1st. The plant swap day. Bring along your surplus plants to Sandra's house in Waterbeach, phone 01223 571421 for directions.

Saturday June 2nd Strawberry Fair. The annual free fair in Cambridge, at which we will have our stall with plants and produce for sale, alongside our display items and lots of booklets and leaflets. Lots of help for the day would be most appreciated.

We have only publicised the first half of the year, as experience has shown us that you don’t always remember the events for the summer/autumn if sent out in December. However, I give advance warning that we will be having a trip to Brogdale and Yalding later in the summer if enough interest is shown
